How to Avoid Gaining Weight Over the Holidays
Thanksgiving is just around the corner!
The holidays will be here before we know it, and with them will come a huge array of decadent desserts, rich foods and delicious meals. That's why many people find themselves with pants that fit a whole lot tighter after the holidays have passed, but wouldn't you love to prevent the holiday weight gain from happening in the first place? One thing you can do is to start taking one of our supplements for weight loss sold right here on the Silver Solution site, but there are a few more things you can do to avoid the holiday weight gain:
#1. Keep plenty of healthy snacks around.
Many people bring in cookies, cupcakes and other sweets to the office during the holiday season, but just because they are there doesn't mean you have to eat them! Keep plenty of healthy, high protein snacks around, like almonds, trail mix, etc., to stay full and avoid the cravings.
#2. Start exercising more.
Inevitably, you are going to eat a bit more than usual over the holidays, but that also means that you need to exercise a bit more. Start taking walks at lunch, park at the end of the lot, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc. There are lots of little things you can do to amp up your exercise.
#3. Pace yourself at parties and get-togethers.
Holidays mean holiday parties that are often full of tasty treats and cocktails. You don't have to avoid the fun altogether, just limit your high-calorie alcohol consumption and snack lightly.
